Anjali's research is on the evolution of modularity in mammals and other vertebrates.  She received her PhD at the Univesity of Chicago before starting an NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship, which was split between the Polly Lab at Queen Mary, University of London and the lab of Marcelo Sanchez at the Natural History Museum in London.  After her postdoc, Anjali went to Cambridge University and then to University College London before joining the Natural History Museum.  She is Division Leader of Vertebrates.  Anjali has served on the executive committee of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology.
