Allison is interested in mammalian evolution and paleoecology and did her Master's thesis on geometric morphometric analysis of the distinctiveness of North American red wolves.  She earned her Bachelor's degree at University of Washington and has worked with the US Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and National Forest Service.
